Minted lamb chops, roast new potatoes and baby carrots, green beans and gravy

A really short post tonight, as I don’t have the energy to write the post I intend to write about weightloss and disordered eating, so I’ll stick to:

It’s been another difficult day – mum has had a nasty headache, and is ‘looping’ complaints about that and concerns about the blood test appointment on Tuesday – but it’s nearly over.

I was privileged to be a witness to Suki’s first ekekekek, at the sight of a wood pigeon on the garden steps.

The mighty tabby hunter herself.

I then learned that it’s possible to turn photos into virtual stickers – long-press on the part of the image you want to sticker-ise, and press on ‘save as sticker’ – so I made myself a Suki sticker, for no real reason except I could.

Stick around, won’t you?

For dinner I did minted lamb chops, because mum loves them, with veg and gravy. I’m now waiting to see if my gallbladder is going to object to the fat on / in the lamb or if I’m safe to eat something sweet and tasty.

Tomorrow I’ll do a better post, I promise, but today I’m all out of energy. Carer’s burnout is getting ever closer, but I haven’t the faintest idea how to avoid it. 🤷‍♂️
