Hotdog rolls with salad

Short and sweet today because, having been out yesterday, I’m utterly exhausted today despite a decent night’s sleep.

The grey clouds which have choked all life out of the day’s light haven’t helped me feel more awake: autumn is my favourite season of the year, but not when it’s like this.

Mum continues to suffer from daily headaches and stomach pain, and to deny that she has any problems with anxiety. She is getting better at realising when her catastrophising is getting out of hand, at least when prompted: I asked her why ‘everyone would hate [her]’ for being ‘a disgusting person’ because she had a headache, and she agreed that wasn’t a reasonable thing to think.

I’m glad that all my years of therapy are coming in useful, but I can’t wait for mum to speak to a professional. I really can’t cope with being mum’s therapist on top of everything else.

She did go out for a walk with her friend, and it did help her headache at least a little. With that precious time to myself I completed the essential task of… playing The Sims. 😳

Dinner was hotdog rolls – i.e. chipolatas wrapped in bread dough and baked. I should have rolled the dough thinner, as several of the rolls were too thick and heavy, and so difficult to cut through that mum and I both resorted to picking them up and eating them with our hands.

I don’t think mum particularly enjoyed them, but I liked them enough to eat the last one on the baking tray, which I am now somewhat regretting. Nvm, it’s not long until I can go and sleep off my overdose of sausages in bread. I just hope I don’t end up rolling around too.
